Diet Review: The Military Diet Plan

I reviewed the Military Diet on A Current Affair and gave it a big thumbs down. The pluses of the diet are it’s an intermittent fasting diet which emerging research has shown promising results. Military is 3 days on the very low cal diet then four days eating relaxed. The minuses are: poor quality food (hot dogs, ice cream, processed meats, not enough fruits and verge although some). But if someone has a shocking diet, fast food 4+ times per week etc then this diet would be better than that. The ice cream and perceived treat foods would help a poor eater stick to it. So even though it’s not a great diet, it’s still better than a junk food diet. Watch Segment here.
