And the best way to connect with me is on INTA or over email. You can check out the show notes for those links. Now, this month I interviewed Erin Barnett and Steph Pace.

So who are these amazing ladies? Well, let’s start with Erin. I’m not really a reality TV watcher, so I actually have to be honest and say I didn’t have any idea who Erin Barnett was until I started researching endometriosis. So Erin is actually best known for being on Channel seven s Beauty in the Geek, and she was a runner up on Love Island and she was also on Channel Tens.

I’m a celebrity, Get Me Outta here. So she’s certainly done the reality TV circuit, but behind this reality TV lifestyle, Erin has actually been battling really debilitating polycystic ovarian syndrome and endometriosis. And living in such a public life, yet battling it privately. Compelled Erin to write a book, Endo Unfiltered, which was designed to be a guide and really a bit of a kind of a girlfriend guide for those diagnosed with these endocrine diseases.

So whether you know her from her shows or from her work in this endo space. Here are some of the behind the scenes questions that I asked her

last meal that you ate. The last meal that I ate was We Picks with Honey and Sugar . Love it. Before that was McDonald’s. Does that make it any better? Uh, no. , do you know I am a nutritionist, right? I know so much going on in my head right now, but let’s just not go there. Okay. Talk to me about a TV series that you’re into at the.

Yellow Stone. Oh my God. Have you ripped? Oh, have you? Oh yeah. I can’t even. But yeah, Yellow stone, a hundred percent. Uh, the great news for me is that I’m a late adopter, so I’ve got like three or four seasons in front of me to get through. And you also have 1883, which is the pre-Cool to Yellow Stone. Oh, yes, Yes.

Have you watched that one yet? Yet? Yes. I’m up to date every, every week it comes out. I’m onto it. Ah. Awesome book that you love besides Endo Unfiltered. Another book that you haven’t written that you love. I was going to say Endo Unfiltered, but um, How To Endo is also another really good book that I’ve read and that also inspired me to write a book.

Okay. How to Endo Great. What is on repeat on your music playlist? So let me just get it up because I don’t know the actual words, but I play it every single day without fail. So the name is called, This is the Live by Amy McDonald. It’s really, really good. I played every single morning. Oh, I’m so adding that to my playlist.

What do you do for exercise? So for exercise, well, I haven’t done a lot in a while because of my surgeries, but beforehand, um, I love going on the StairMaster machine for about 40 minutes, and then after that I will just walk slowly for about another 40 minutes. Okay. Oh, nice. Okay. She’s a cardio queen. I like it.

What does Erin do for fun? So it’s really random. I could be either just go down to a Chika or Yara Wonga to go to the Murray, or I’m really enjoying like tree surfing at the moment. Have you ever tried that where you’re in a zip line and you go and do all these obstacles that are up high in a tree? Oh yeah.

Okay. Yes, yes, yes. So that’s been so excitingly fun. Oh, I love that. That is, that’s very adrenaline sport of you. Yeah. Oh, awesome. Great. Thank you. Thank you. Bye.

Steph. Pace is totally worth following on Instagram. Look up just another mum blog and I’ll make sure that I put the links in my show notes as well. I came across just another mum blog a few years ago, and I’ve really been enjoying her posts ever since. She’s kind of like an Aussie version of Marie Condo, but much more down to earth and real.

She’s got a whole bunch of awesome home hacks and she helps her followers become more organized in life as well as in the. I was also really interested to talk to Steph because she’s one of the few influencers that that’s been able to translate her Instagram following, which is at 235,000. I believe she’s been able to transfer those followers into a really strong e-com business off the back of that following selling her stiff pace planner.

And I think she sells a few other things as well, and she does a really great job of kind of integrating those sales into her very organic posts as well. So our chat was about her biggest hacks for getting organized at home and in life. And here are a few fast, quick questions that I asked her at the end of our chat.

Enjoy.

Last meal that you ate. So that would’ve been, I had breakfast, so that was just a protein smoothie with banana and peanut butter and oats in a smoothie. Do you add a protein powder? Yes, so I Protein powder, peanut butter, banana. I do like a tablespoon of oats and then just water and ice. That was my breakfast.

Oh, very good. Yeah. It’s delicious TV series that you’re into at the moment. I’m not someone who usually watches tv. I usually do more. Podcasts and true crime. But if I had to watch one, it’d be you. You know the show you? Oh yeah. Is that the, Yeah, it’s a bit creepy. It’s the stalker one, right? Yeah. Yeah. I, Oh, I did, I watched the first season.

Yeah. And then the second season looked too full on, so I haven’t gone there yet. It’s been intense. , a book that you love? It’s from Samantha Wills and she’s an entrepreneur, which really helped me. It’s called In Gold and Dust. It’s all about her building up, you know, her brand, but not really understanding how to run a business, and that has definitely helped me personally.

That’s literally what I feel like I’ve done. I’m still learning how to run a business, but I’ve built a brand so that, that’s the latest book I’ve loved and read. So was that, is it helpful for someone that’s thinking about starting a business? Yes. That has started a business or that’s growing their business rapidly?

Honestly, I think all of them, I think it’s just a really inspirational story to figure out like what’s your next steps? And like she’s very raw in the story of the hard times as well. So I feel like for me, who. Everyone else seems like I’ve got, you know, my shit together. I’m still really trying to learn how to build a business and stay on top of it as well.

So I think her book would be great for all of the above. What’s on repeat on your music playlist? Always. Jessie’s Girls. My favorite song, I love old school. Love it. I’m gonna say showing your age here, but you’re not, cuz you’re very. What about exercise? What do you do for exercise? I go to the gym and I also, I just love weight lifting.

I just love weights. On your own or in a class? No, on my own. I’m actually a PT as well. I did that. Many moons ago, . So what about for fun? Does Steph Pace have some time in her tightly held schedule for fun? Yes, I definitely make sure I have fun. So it’s either, you know, being outside with my girls, I love going on like walks and stuff, going to the beach.

But I love plants and I love true crime. They’re my guilty. There you go. Plants and true crime. Yeah. Thank you. Thank you so much.
