Motivational Quotes Competition

Sep 8, 2008 | Motivation, Parenting

Truman Capote once wrote ‘To me, the greatest pleasure of writing is not what it’s about, but the inner music the words make.’  A well written quote holds the power to shift a person from inaction to action, from deflated to inspired.

This month I am searching for the best of the best.  The creme de la creme of motivational quotes. What have you read that sends a shiver up your spine, makes you smile, raises a murmour in your heart?

What are your favorite motivational quotes? Post them below in the comments section and next month I will award a $50 Amazon voucher to the winning quote. Enter as many quotes as you wish.

Competition closes September 30th 2008. Good luck!

Last month I ran the Motivational Quotes competition and now I have to decide which one deserves to win. I loved all of them! I particularly loved Amy Common’s, Bay Martin’s, Geraldine Phillips, and Noel Lyons, but there can only be one winner, and that person is Johnny Mac. Congratulations on winning a $50 Amazon voucher for submitting this pearler:

“Far better it is to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs even though checkered by failure, than to rank with those poor spirits who neither enjoy nor suffer much because they live in the gray twilight that knows neither victory nor defeat.”

Theodore Roosevelt

Thank you to everyone who submitted amazing quotes.
