Everyday, my job takes me places where I meet wonderful people who inspire me. Then there are days when I get the opportunity to interview some of these amazing people so they can go ahead and inspire you.
A few months ago, internationally-renowned teacher, author, chiropractor and life coach, Dr. Dain Heer, visited Sydney and I was lucky enough to sit down with him to chat about his new book, ‘Being You: Changing The World‘.
Dr. Dain is such an inspirational man. He grew up in the ghettos of America where he was the only white person for miles. After living a troubled childhood and having to overcome mental and physical abuse, the man has now moved on to inspire others to live a happier and content life. He isn’t your regular ‘self help’ guru, quite contrary, he adds a bit of logic, science and quirky humour to his philosophies. He is now traveling the world and teaching people about the ‘being you’ revolution.
Despite his ideologies often clashing with those of the the fitness industry, after chatting with Dr. Dain, I realised that we are pretty much playing for the same team. You’ll see in the interview that we discuss the idea of setting fitness goals and the importance of listening to you body while doing so.
It’s a very interesting chat, please do watch the interview.
